This Privacy Policy explains how 8visory Consulting LLC ("8visory," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you work with us as a consulting client or contact, or use BE.ME (beme-os.com), our leadership performance operating system. BE.ME is currently available as an early pilot and we'll keep this policy updated as it develops.
One policy covers both parts of our business. The sections below apply to everyone; "Your Wearable and Assessment Data" applies specifically if you use BE.ME.
We've written this policy to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, and Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), since our clients and pilot users are based across the UAE, the wider Gulf including Saudi Arabia, the UK, and Europe. Where these laws set different requirements, we follow the higher standard.
If you join the BE.ME pilot, you'll also sign a separate Pilot Participation Agreement. This Privacy Policy governs how we handle your personal data; where the two documents address a data protection matter differently, this Policy governs.
8visory Consulting LLC is a limited liability company registered on the mainland of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller responsible for your personal data under this policy.
Company Registration Number: 1595367
Contact: privacy@beme-os.com
Your name, job title, employer, and business contact details; correspondence related to our engagement and billing details.
Wearable and assessment data can reveal things about your health and mental state, so we treat it as sensitive data and handle it the way we describe in "Your Wearable and Assessment Data" below.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use BE.ME data for advertising.
Because this data is sensitive, we ask for your consent to it separately from accepting this Privacy Policy.
During onboarding, after you've accepted this policy, we'll ask you directly to confirm: "Allow BE.ME to access your selected biometrics data via your wearables provider, and your assessment responses, so we can generate your personal insights?" That confirmation — not the general policy acceptance — is what gives us permission to start using your data inside BE.ME.
You can turn this off at any time in Settings. If you do, we stop collecting new wearable data and you'll lose access to some personalized insights, but the rest of your account keeps working.
We only use this data to generate insights for you, and aggregated, de-identified trends for your organization if there is a commercial agreement in place — never for anything else without asking you again.
Separately, if you join the pilot, we may also ask whether you're willing to let us use your name or a testimonial in marketing materials. That's entirely optional, covered in your Pilot Participation Agreement, and saying no doesn't affect your ability to participate.
We use a small number of trusted service providers:
| Provider | Location |
|---|---|
| Microsoft | United Arab Emirates |
| Supabase, Vercel, Resend | EU (Ireland) |
| Railway | EU (Amsterdam, Netherlands) |
We don't share your data with anyone else except where the law requires it.
We keep your data for as long as your account or engagement is active, plus 12 months afterward, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, or you ask us to delete it sooner.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, restrict access to data on a need-to-know basis, and only work with providers who maintain their own strong security practices.
Your individually identifiable BE.ME data is kept in a private, access-restricted store (what we internally call your "Vault"), accessible only to you and to the team members or processors who need it to operate the platform. Only anonymized, aggregated data, with individual identifiers removed, is ever used at a cohort or platform level.
Wherever you're based, you can:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Access & correction | See what data we hold about you, and fix anything that's wrong. |
| Deletion | Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention needs. |
| Objection & restriction | Object to certain uses of your data, or ask us to limit them. |
| Portability | Get a copy of your data in a portable format, where feasible. |
| Withdraw consent | Turn off wearable/assessment data collection at any time. |
To use any of these, email privacy@beme-os.com and we'll get back to you within 30 days. You can also raise a concern with your local data protection authority — for example, the UAE Data Office, Saudi Arabia's SDAIA, the Irish Data Protection Commission if you're in the EU, or the ICO if you're in the UK.
BE.ME generates your BE.ME Score and related insights from your wearable and assessment data automatically. Since we're still in pilot, treat these as experimental and evolving rather than a definitive assessment and, as with anything touching your health or wellbeing, they're not a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice. We don't use them to make decisions about your employment, and we don't share your individual score with your employer/organization without your separate agreement.
BE.ME and our consulting services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
If we ever have a data breach that puts your information at risk, we'll notify the relevant regulator and let you know directly if there's a meaningful risk to you.
beme-os.com and the BE.ME app use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used.
We'll update this page as BE.ME moves beyond pilot and update the effective date above. If a change affects how we use your wearable or assessment data, we'll ask for your consent again rather than relying on the old one.
